The Name
One night I had a dream. There was a new moon before me in a midnight purple-ish blue. She was huge and looked especially delicious. Since she sat so close to me I took a bite, and I ate her all up. When I woke up I felt surprised at the beauty and intimacy of the dream. I understood it to mean connection, an offer had been made and I accepted. The moon symbolizes intuition, gifts, transformation and abundance, and I took her in piece by piece with feelings of ease and delight.
The Moon is a beacon for change. She moves through darkness and light, reflecting back to us the beauty of transformation and the impermanence of events and situations. Her celestial body is a reminder that movement is a part of life, and that we have the authority to influence the tides that rise and fall in our atmospheres. She reminds us of our power and only asks us to embrace the wisdom of cycles, noting that, as Divine beings, all we need is already within. My name is Khadijah. I am a certified Astrologer, Reiki Master, Card Reader, Numerologist, Earth Worker and Spiritual Coach. Even as a child I found myself interested in understanding who we are as Divine beings and empowering individuals to live authentically and to express the Divine gifts within. This childhood fascination has become my profession and has always been my destiny. Giving readings blesses me just as much as it blesses my clients, and I am grateful that I am able to do Spirit’s work.
